Deeper Learning, Complex Problem-Solving, and Fun: Using the Active Learning Classrooms by Khalil ElKhodary

In this video, Khalil ElKhodary describes how he uses the Active Learning Classrooms at AUC to deepen student learning in his mechanical engineering classes. He explains how the use of the large writable screens makes student learning more visible to him as a teacher, and he can lecture for less time then watch students while they do more complex problem-solving. He also talks about how it has made his classes more fun for both him and his students.

The ELIPSS rubrics Khalil mentions in the video can be found here.
