Brief description of the Assessment
In this project, you will create a short podcast about selected scientific themes. Your task is to choose a topic from the list below, listen or read the recommended resource, find two extra resources, and present this topic to the general public. Ultimately, these podcasts will be used to create longer episodes that will be shared with a wider audience within the AUC community. You will work in teams of two to complete this project.

Rhetoric and Composition: Book talk where students interview each other about the books they are reading and doing a podcast style book club/book review Anthropology: Students record a short podcast episode explaining a complex anthropological concept to the general public (in an interview or monologue format) Journalism for teaching radio.
Possible Adaptations
Students can use editing software on their smartphones, can increase/decrease time and workload or research required for creating the podcast episodes, they could also be done in interview format with an expert from their field about their topic of research.
