Sample/model explanation for students about how this activity develops their digital literacies
This activity develops your digital literacies by encouraging you to conduct online research about the topic you are presenting, ensure credibility of information and sources, and present it using the timeline tool in a visually engaging manner. This includes learning the technology tool itself, as well as the literacy of how to present information in a timeline (i.e. writing short blurbs, ensuring images are reflective of the content, ensuring images are not copyrighted, publishing it online and knowing that it will be publicly accessible, choosing and ordering the material in the timeline to reflect the best way to tell the historical story and how to combine multimedia to interestingly tell a story visually).
