Within a forum, discussions can be organized into \u2018threads\u2019.\u00a0 As the discussion manager, you will want to create threads with leading questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Start a Thread:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. If not already selected, select the\u00a0Discussion Board<\/strong>\u00a0you wish to modify.<\/li>
  2. Click on the title of the forum you want to add a thread to<\/li>
  3. Click the\u00a0Create Thread<\/strong>\u00a0button
    <\/a><\/li>
  4. Enter the title of the message in the subject field.<\/li>
  5. Enter conversation text in the message field.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Posting a Message in a Thread<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once a thread is created, you and your students are able to carry on a discussion by replying to the original thread entry or by replying to another reply using the Reply<\/strong> button. If \u201cAllow File Attachments\u201d was checked when the forum was created, you and your students will be able to attach files to your discussion board postings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
